How to use the generator
- Choose the schema type that matches the page.
- Fill in the fields with information that is visible on the page.
- Copy the JSON-LD and paste it into a script tag of type application/ld+json.
- Test it with Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator.
What it does not do
- It creates standalone blocks. For a connected graph with shared @ids across pages, the nodes need to reference each other.
- FAQ rich results are now shown for only a small set of sites, so FAQ schema is mostly useful for machines, not guaranteed rich results.
- It does not add review or rating markup, which must reflect real, visible reviews.

Is JSON-LD better than microdata?
Google recommends JSON-LD because it is separate from the HTML and easier to maintain.
Will schema improve my rankings?
Not directly. It helps search engines and AI systems understand the page and can make you eligible for rich results.
Can I use it for a whole site?
For a few pages, yes. For many pages, generate the markup from your templates and data.
